Epynt Motor Club Achieves Sustainable Rally Charter Accreditation from Motorsport UK

Epynt Motor Club is proud to announce that it has officially completed the accreditation process and is now fully compliant with the Motorsport UK Sustainable Rally Charter.

The achievement demonstrates the club’s ongoing commitment to promoting environmentally responsible motorsport while supporting the future sustainability of rallying across Wales and the wider UK motorsport community.

The Sustainable Rally Charter, introduced by Motorsport UK, sets out a framework for rally organisers and motor clubs to improve environmental practices, reduce carbon impact, engage positively with local communities, and ensure rallies continue to operate responsibly for future generations.

By meeting the charter requirements, Epynt Motor Club has shown its dedication to implementing sustainable event management practices across its activities and events. This includes improving waste management, encouraging responsible competitor and spectator behaviour, reducing environmental impact where possible, and strengthening engagement with local communities and landowners.

A spokesperson for Epynt Motor Club said:

“We are delighted to have achieved compliance with the Sustainable Rally Charter. Motorsport has a strong future, but it is important that clubs continue to evolve and demonstrate responsible event management. This accreditation recognises the hard work of our organisers, officials, marshals, competitors and volunteers who help make our events successful and sustainable.”

The club would also like to thank its volunteers, event officials, partner organisations, landowners and local communities for their continued support in helping Epynt Motor Club deliver safe, enjoyable and environmentally responsible motorsport events.

Epynt Motor Club has a long-standing history of organising and supporting rally events in Wales and remains committed to developing motorsport in a sustainable, community-focused and environmentally conscious way.
