Navscatter Championship 2026 - Round One
What a fantastic start to the 2026 Navscatter championship!
Nine crews arrived at the Severn Arms Hotel, Penybont, and attempted to find a number of clues scattered around the lanes of mid Wales in wet and challenging conditions.
Amongst the crews we had some regulars plus a number of new competitors. Some of who had attended our tuition evening recently, plus some others crossing over from our autotest championship to the lanes.
First overall and winning the awards for first expert driver and navigator were Brian Jones and Michael Hardwick. Daniel and Laura Elkin finished in second place overall securing the first novice driver and navigator awards. With so many newcomers on the night, beginner awards were also presented to Gerwyn and Gethin Jones, to mark a fantastic third overall result on Gethin’s first ever navscatter.
Congratulations to all who took part, especially the novice crews with everyone managing to find a large number of the clues, and thanks to Keith Morgan and Ted Morgan for their help on the night.

The navscatter championship standings have been updated following round one.
Round Two will take place on Friday 20th February from Llandovery Rugby Club, using OS map 160.
