Cambrian Mountain Tour 2020 - POSTPONED
*Due to the COVID19 and on the advice of the Government, this event has been postponed*
Welcome to the Cambrian Mountains Tour 2020.
The event was first run last year as part of celebrations during 2019 to mark the 50th anniversary of Epynt Motor Cub. After such a fantastic day, we have decided to make the Cambrian Mountains Tour an annual event.
The Tour is open to all and planned to be a fun family day out.
The event is not timed and will provide a relaxed tour along classic roads and amid beautiful scenery. Both classic and modern cars are welcome.
Once again, the Tour will start at Llanwrtyd Railway Station, opposite what was the Askomel Hotel, which was the original home of Epynt Motor Club when it was founded in 1969.
Refreshments are included in the entry fee, starting with a bacon roll on arrival, mid-morning coffee stop, buffet lunch and hot two-course dinner at the finish.
There will not be a road book with tulip diagrams; instead only simple navigation will be required using Ordnance Survey maps. A map book and tour plate will be supplied, as well as clues to find en route.
The event will finish at the Belle Vue Hotel in Llanwrtyd Wells, where prizes will be awarded for the best turned out vehicles.
We would like to thank those who are sponsoring and supporting the Tour, as without their valued assistance we would be unable to run the event:
- Belle Vue Hotel
- Geoff Jones Motorsport
- LW Factors
- Mosley's Garage
- Rally Marketing
- West Wales Rally Spares
