Navscatter Round 6 wraps up 2025 championship
The final round of the 2025 Navscatter Championship was held in early December. Organised by Kieran Price and Alis Davies, the event started from Llandovery Rugby Club. It was good to see an increased number of entries with eight crews taking part. Clues were scattered over OS map 146 with an hour and a half allowed to find them.
At the finish, the top two crews finished with the maximum number of clues and the same time taken, so in joint first place overall were Brian Jones and Michael Hardwick, and Neil Wozencraft and Ceri Davies.
In second place overall and taking home the first novice driver and navigator awards were Daniel and Laura Elkin.
It was a close call for third place with Martyn Evans and Kate Jones just taking it despite having the same number of clues as Andy and Chloe Vale but having a time advantage of five minutes.
Special mentions go to Anton and Seb Du Croq Slip who had travelled from Cardiff to take part on unfamiliar roads, and to Kayne Roberts and Callum Morris competing on their first ever event.

To wrap up the season, the 2025 final championship standings have been published and the award winners will be announced soon.
Awards will be presented at the Annual Dinner and Awards Presentation on Saturday 7th February.
Looking ahead to next year’s Navscatter Championship…
There will be five events in 2026 which will take place on Friday nights, in the hope of attracting more entries. Keep an eye out for the 2026 Epynt Motor Club calendar coming soon!
