Epynt Motor Club is pleased to promote the Wye Valley Charity Stages Rally. Originally held at the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells, it was one of the most popular single venue events in the country and received a full entry for the nine years it was held there. Unfortunately all motor sport was stopped at the Showground last year but Epynt Motor Club will now be running the event on the Epynt Military Ranges on Sunday 25th February.
The rally is again being run to raise funds for local charitable causes. Over the past nine years the club has been able to support various fund raising activities and in total over £25,000 has been raised. This year we aim to assist Builth Wells High School Patagonia Appeal, Army Benevolent Fund and Parents and Friends of Ysgol Dolafon, Llanwrtyd Wells.

The rally will take place on the western side of the Epynt Ranges and will offer competitors approximately 37 stage miles of tarmac roads, over 12 stages. There will be minimal link sections and servicing all contained on the Epynt Ranges. Again, with four wheel drive and turbo charging not allowed, the event is aimed at providing the clubman with an enjoyable and competitive day’s motor sport. A Trophy Rally will be run for those who are unfortunate to retire early on the day. The entry fee is £190.
