Members of Epynt Motor Club Ltd. are delighted to welcome you to The Eventsigns Mewla Rally. Once again we would like to welcome as our main sponsor “EVENTSIGNS”. Vaughan Allcock, Director of EventSigns, has been involved in the Mewla since 1984 and we are indebted to him for all his help and assistance he gives to the event.

We are also delighted that Robin Stark and his company FIELD FARE CATERING are once again involved with the Mewla continuing his long association with Epynt Motor Club.

We are pleased that this year we will be a qualifying round of the REIS – Get Connected MSA Ashphalt Rally Championship, the King of Epynt supported by Collins Design Build and Developments, as well as the Steve Harkness Competition Tyres Welsh National Tarmacadam Championship, the Subaru WRC Spares Ltd ASWMC Sealed Surface Stage Rally Championships and the ANWCC Stage Rally Champiohship. In recognition of the increasing number of competitors running Historic Cars we will, this year, be running classes for these cars.

The rally will once again be based on the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells where the excellent facilities will be used for our Rally Headquarters and scrutineering. There will be the option to scrutineer and sign-on on the Sunday, for a maximum of five cars, for those competitors not wishing to stay overnight. With eight stages, providing over 80 stage miles, and a recce the previous day.

The last navscatter before the summer break was organised by Roger Stevens with help from Graham Tong and Lynne Jones. The crews left the Belle View Hotel, Llanwrtyd Wells, to start the event just outside of Garth. The route went through Maesmynis, Erwood and Upper Chapel before heading back to Llanwrtyd.

Last chance to book your place on the Epynt Motor Club karting trip on Sunday 13th May to Supakart in Newport.

Grand Prix will include:
5 practice laps,
4 heats of 5 laps,
5 lap semi final,
10 lap grand final,
and hopefully a ladies race!

The bus will be picking up in Llanwrtyd, Builth, Llyswen etc at about 10.30am for the race at 2pm.

Total cost will be £45 per person. A deposit of £15 is needed ASAP and the rest paid on the day.
