Results

Round three of the 2024 Navscatter Championship started from The Seven Stars Inn, Aberedw.

Eight crews turned up to find the clues located over OS maps 147 and 148.

Thank you to Roger Stevens for organising a challenging route with even more challenging clues!

Six crews made it onto the results board, with husband and wife pairing, Gary and Yvonne Powell taking the overall win and the awards for first expert driver and first novice navigator.

In second place were Nobby and Ryan Davies, who picked up the remaining class awards for first novice driver and first expert navigator.

  3. Gerwyn Jones (E) & Kate Jones (E) – 8 fails 12 points

  4. Neil Wozencraft (E) & Ceri Davies(E) – 9 fails 9 points

  5. Brian Jones (E) & Michael Hardwick (E) – 9 fails 12 points

  6. Kyle Davies (N) & Jac Jones (N) – 11 fails 3 points

    Connor Powell (N) & Ben Maggs (N) – OTL

    Luke Jones (N) & Rowan Morgan (N) – DNF


Thanks to Doody Farmer, previous Clerk of the Course of the Powys Lanes Rally, for presenting the awards.

With the days getting longer, the championship now takes a summer break and will resume in September for the final three rounds into the winter.
